Dry Eye Optometric Technician

I have been with Accuvision Eyecare since 2022. I’m privileged to work with Dr. Shah and Dr. Luttrell as part of the Accuvision Dry Eye team.  My primary responsibilities include front office administration and insurance point of contact for patients. I assist in scheduling appointments, addressing care treatment questions, fulfilling medication and prior authorization requests while helping to maintain a friendly and stress-free environment. I take pride in supporting our patients from the moment of check-in to check-out. When I am not at the office, I enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends.

BETANIA
Dry Eye Optometric Technician

I have been part of the Accuvision team since 2019 and have worked in several roles over the years, which has given me a strong understanding of both patient care and clinic operations. I currently work at Accuvision Dry Eye, where I help perform dry eye diagnostic testing and support patients with scheduling and insurance verification.

I strive to create a calm, welcoming environment and do my best to help patients feel at ease during their visit, especially in situations that may feel overwhelming or stressful. I enjoy being a supportive point of contact for patients and take pride in helping create a positive experience from start to finish.

I am bilingual in English and Spanish and am happy to assist patients in whichever language they feel most comfortable.

Dry Eye Optometric Technician

I’ve had the pleasure of being part of the Accuvision Dry Eye team since 2023. Most of my day is spent in the exam room with Dr. Shah documenting exams and treatment plans. My goal is to make each patient feel like they have gotten a personalized experience and leave feeling confident that they have been given the tools and education to have success with their treatment.

I also work with Dr. Luttrell’s patients to prepare them for his glaucoma exam. The extensive testing that comes along with a glaucoma exam can sometimes feel overwhelming and stressful. I focus on combining a relaxed environment along with a thorough explanation each step of the way to help calm any pre-exam nerves.

I enjoy creating a festive atmosphere in the office. Any holiday decor you encounter in the office is most likely attributed to my efforts.

In my free time, I enjoy crafting, reading, gardening, and spending time with my children.
